Vince Townrow

 

Vince brings to SEA Marine over 30 years of experience in the Matine Trades as a Rigger and Sail Maker.As proficient at Sail Making and Sail Design, he is an expert at Rigging and Rig Design. His interest at sailing started at the young age of 10, on the waters of Tasmania where he involved himself in the ranks of the One Design Dinghy Fleets. Vince moved to the states in 1979.

 

Vince also has over 40 years sailing experience which include:

 

• 29 years Chesapeake PHRF Racing
• J24, J27, J42, and Beneteau 36.7 offshore racing
• One design Keel Bolt Classes
• Numerous cruises and deliveries to New England and Miami

One of Vince's personal high favorites was a sail around Delmarva Peninsula (400 miles) in a Pearson Electra, 16' LWL in 5-1/2 days... engineless.

 

Vince welcomes the opportunity to expand his horizons on the west coast and looks forward to sharing his years of experience, highest level of service, and unique Rigging/Sailmaking background to create imaginative, innovative and appropriatesolutions for your boat.
