Moondance is one of the earliest Cape George Cutters built by Cecil Lang and the crew at Cape George Marine Works in Port Townsend, WA. Designed and built for local or around the world offshore cruising, the CG36 enjoys a broad following and is still built today on a custom order basis. This model is sought after for it’s traditional lines, an adaptation of the Atkins 1930 Tally Ho Major. Her high bulwarks, broad decks, spacious cockpit and wineglass transom with massive aft hung rudder-all desirable traits rare to see on an Atkins design, but favored for their simplicity and ease of maintenance. Once inside, the comfortable Salon showcases teak woodwork, spacious Galley and a large u-shaped settee that can easily accommodate 6 hungry crew.  Forward is the Master Stateroom with double berth and ample storage and head with shower.  Rarely is a Cape George available in this price range, some TLC required.
