Bonnie is a fiberglass semi-custom cutter rigged single owner sloop with a long fin high lift keel and skeg hung rudder. She draws 8.5 feet and weighs about 32000 lbs. of which 13000 lbs.’ is internally encapsulated and retained by 16 one inch stainless steel keel bolts bent into a U shape with 32 nuts and backing plates. The boat has been designed and equipped for long ocean voyages.  The engine is a marinized four cylinder 85 hp Ford diesel with approximately 1825 total hours. A Robert Perry custom designed painted alloy hard dodger is permanently installed. The boat has had minimal use in the last few decades as the owners have had a second boat sailed mainly in the Atlantic Basin with pre-teenage children . Bonnie sailed offshore from her home port in Alaska to Washington in the late summer of 2018 and now resides at Port Hadlock.

The hull was repainted in 2016. Bonnie is equipped with a full battened mainsail (150 hours of use), Antal tract and cars, asymmetric spinnaker (used 3-4 times), staysail , Groco thru-hulls, custom stanchions, ports, standing and running rigging and much more. The interior is varnished teak as well as adhesive bonded (not screw fastened) TDS teak cockpit sole , coming and seat surfaces. She is equipped with two Wilcox Crittenden Skipper manual heads and a forward 110 V electric/engine heated shower.  Replacements spares are too numerous to list. The charging system is two 230 Amp. 8D batteries with 100 amp alternator and Ample 3 stage external regulator.
