1977 43 ft. Custom Polaris $219,900 Refit in 2001! BLUE WATER VESSEL!

Brokerage Listing

“Seaquel,”  is a 43 foot Bob Perry Polaris hull, that was stripped to bare and rebuilt to perfection.  A  joint project that spanned six years,  Rick and Sandi Calef’s goal, to create a safe and sturdy boat for extended blue water cruising, AND THAT IS WHAT THEY DID!  In 2001 emerged a brand new boat, with construction FAR exceeding any factory finish. She was the recipient of the BEST COMPLETE REFIT Award, from Bob Perry himself – who also deemed it the only boat he would live aboard!  Attention to detail, quality materials, outstanding craftsmanship combined to create this vessel. Following instructions from Naval Architect J. Camerson McKernan, the project varies slightly from the original Perry design.  Notable, is the shorter house and rounded cockpit, which echos the shape of of the canoe stern. High end materials and finishes consistent inside and out. All exterior hardware is that of nuclear grade stainless, designed, engineered and customized for every square inch.  Rigging is 3/16, winches and turnbuckles over sized.  Electronic features include Raytheon Multi-function display, GPS, AIS, SSB VHF, Autopilot, Wind generator and more. The interior is just as fine, featuring Ironwood cabinetry and Corian counters throughout the Galley and Salon. The layout is comfortable and functional with Nav station opposite galley and Large L shaped seating with opposing bench seat that converts to a double. Forward is the queen berth with ample storage,  private head with separate shower, w/d, and dedicated sail storage complete with workbench.  The 2001 Volvo with hydraulic drive is the powerhouse- barely broken-in with 1334 hours. This boat has so many special features. Gig Harbor sailing dinghy, and 10′ Achilles inflatable with outboard included.  Allison Mazon Survey available upon request.
